Your funder added an existing loan

A funder you already borrow from can bring your loan onto Acreed. Here is what their email means and what to do.

Last updated

The email

The email says your funder is monitoring your loan on Acreed and has a Claim my account button. The link works for 14 days, and we send a few reminders. If it expires, ask your funder to send a new one.

Claim your account

  1. Press Claim my account in the email. The page shows your funder and the loan.
  2. Press Claim my account again, then Continue to sign in, and enter the code we email you.
  3. Open Loan Monitoring, choose the bank account to share and grant consent.

Nothing is shared until you agree. If you already use Acreed, the loan is added to your account and we email you to decide about monitoring.

Still need help?

Ask a person.

Send us a message and someone from the team replies by email, usually within one business day. If you are signed in, the assistant in the app can also answer questions about your own account.
