When a funder asks for more

A funder who needs more information sends you a note. It arrives in Messages, in the bell and by email. Reply in Messages by typing in Write a message… and pressing Send. Replying quickly keeps your application moving.

Accept an offer

  1. When a funder approves you, My Applications shows Offer ready with the funder’s terms: the amount, interest rate, how the interest is worked out, tenure, how it is repaid, and any fees.
  2. Read the terms. Press Ask a question to message the funder about anything that is unclear.
  3. Press Accept offer, tick that you have read the terms and accept the offer, and press Accept & sign.

Only the owner or an admin of the business can accept an offer. The funder can record the loan only after you accept, and only on the terms you accepted. They pay it out through their own bank. Monitoring begins once you consent to it.

Once you accept, the terms are locked. If the funder needs to change them, they send a new offer: you are told in the bell and in Messages, and you accept the new terms before anything is paid out. If the offer changed while you had it open, accepting tells you so and shows the new terms.
