Your Acreed Credibility Score

What your score and band mean, what confidence is, and how to lift your score.

Score and band

Your score is out of 100 and sits in one of five bands. The bands are the same for every business and every funder.

  • Strong80–100Earns a certificate
  • Established70–79Earns a certificate
  • Developing50–69
  • Emerging35–49
  • Early Stage0–34
The Acreed Credibility Score runs from 0 to 100. The same five bands apply to every business and every funder.

A funder’s own criteria never change your score or your band. Each funder also sees how well you fit their programme, which is a separate judgement.

Confidence

Next to your score is a confidence percentage. It says how much of the expected evidence is in, and how sure each check was. A missing check, or one that came back less certain, lowers it. Completing every check raises it.

The Score & Analysis page

The page opens once you are verified. Its tabs appear as there is data for them:

Summary
Your analysis in plain words, and the factor breakdown.
Factors
Where your points come from.
Money
Your money as funders see it, your credit file and your business record.
Roadmap
What would lift your score, with Update & re-verify buttons and a projected score.
History
How your score has changed.

Lift your score

  • Finish any check that is still open, and make sure every co-director has verified.
  • Connect the account your business really trades through, and add any other business account it uses.
  • Add a tax clearance certificate and evidence for any collateral.
  • Follow the Roadmap tab. It lists what is waiting on one more thing.

Your climb shows how many published funder programmes fit your business today, and how many fit once you reach the next band. A published term is not an offer.
