Get started
- How Acreed works for fundersAcreedify checks a business before you lend. AcreedPulse watches the loan after you pay it out. This is how the two fit together.
- Set up and verify your organisationCreate your funder account, then, when asked, prove your organisation is real. Businesses are verified on Acreed, and funders can be too.
Find and assess
- Build a criteria formA criteria form is the application you put in front of businesses: the extra questions you need, and how much each part of the score matters to you.
- Find businesses and invite them to applyThe Directory lists verified businesses that chose to be found and match what you fund. Invite the ones that fit, or bring in a business that is not on Acreed yet.
- Review an applicationEvery application arrives scored, with its band, its fit for your programme and every check’s result. This is how to read it.
- Check a certificateAnyone can confirm an Acreed certificate is genuine in seconds, with no account and no need to contact us.
Decide and fund
Monitor your loans
- Your funded portfolio and loan healthEvery loan being monitored, with a green, amber or red health colour and the reasons behind it.
- Set and track covenantsCovenants are the conditions a loan must keep. AcreedPulse measures each one against the live bank feed and tells you when one slips.
- Alerts and the watchlistAlerts tell you when a loan needs your eyes. The watchlist keeps the loans you want to follow closely in one place.
- Repayments and missed paymentsEvery monitored loan has a repayment schedule. Confirm what the business says it paid, record payments yourself, and see when one is missed.
- How the bank feed is readAcreedPulse reads the business’s bank account, read-only and with consent. This is what it reads, how often, and how it decides what counts as income.
- Bring existing loans into monitoringImport the loans you already hold from a spreadsheet. Each business is asked to accept monitoring and connect its bank.
- Early settlement: your rule, our arithmeticWhen a business pays a loan off before its term, what does it owe? You choose the rule and the fee; every loan page shows the figure that would clear it today.
Your organisation
- Your team, roles and booksAdd colleagues with the right role. Each portfolio manager works their own book, and administrators see the whole of it.
- Billing and monitoring creditsOne subscription covers your organisation. Monitoring runs on prepaid credits that each bank read uses up.
- AnalyticsYour pipeline, your book and your team in charts.
- Messages and the assistantTalk to businesses in one place, and ask the assistant about your own account in plain words.
