Your documents

Keep the documents funders ask for in one place, and see which ones can lift your score.

The Documents page

Documents shows a checklist of what funders commonly ask for. Each item is On file, Connected (your linked bank covers the bank statement) or Not yet, with an Upload button.

  • CAC certificate
  • Bank statement
  • Audited accounts
  • Tax clearance certificate
  • Proof of address
  • Offtake / supply agreement
  • Board resolution

Upload one

  1. Press Upload on the item, or use the Upload a document panel.
  2. Choose what the document is. A type is needed before the file.
  3. Choose the file: a PDF, an image, a spreadsheet or a document.

Only your team and the funders you apply to can see your documents. Each file is checked automatically, and a file that fails the check is not shown to funders.

Documents and your score

Three kinds of document can move your score: a tax clearance certificate, evidence for any collateral, and a proof of address that Acreed’s team has confirmed. All three are checked inside Get Verified, so add them there or press Add & re-verify on the Documents page.
