Your certificate

What is on your certificate, how funders check it, how to share it, and how to let funders find you.

What is on it

Your certificate has its own number starting with ACR-, your score, band and confidence, your sector, how long you have been in business (when that is on record), the date it was issued and the date it is valid until. Its QR code lets anyone confirm it is genuine without contacting Acreed. If you switch off Public certificate link in Settings, the link and QR code stop working for the public; funders you apply to still see your certificate.

The score on your certificate does not change while it is valid, unless you renew early and choose Replace my certificate. You will get reminders by email and in the app before it expires.

Share it

  • Press Share, WhatsApp or Copy link when your certificate is issued.
  • On My Certificate, use Copy link, Embed, Download PDF or Print.
  • Anyone who opens the link or scans the code sees the public check page: Certificate verified, expired or no longer valid.

Let funders find you

Funders can only find you in their directory if you choose to be listed. The owner or an admin can switch on Let funders find my business under Settings, then Privacy & security, or from the card on the dashboard once you hold a certificate. It is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time.

If your score did not earn one

You see Your score isn’t high enough for a certificate yet and how many points you need. Press See what will lift my score to open your roadmap.
