Build a criteria form
A criteria form is the application you put in front of businesses: the extra questions you need, and how much each part of the score matters to you.

What a criteria form does
Acreedify already collects identity, registration, credit, tax and bank evidence for every business. Your form adds only the questions you need on top. It also sets your fit weighting: how much each of the six parts of the score counts for your programme. You need at least one published form before you can invite a business to apply.
Build and publish one
- Open New Criteria, give the form a Template name and press Create template.
- Under Form fields, press Add field for each question. Choose its type, and say whether it is required.
- Under Fit weighting, move the six sliders until they add up to exactly 100%. The meter says Balanced · ready to publish when they do.
- Press Publish template. The form is now live, and you can invite businesses to apply with it.
Changes save as you go. Field types are short text, number, currency (₦), a choice of one or many, yes or no, date, email, phone, and file upload. Show only when… shows a question only when an earlier answer matches, so businesses see only what applies to them.
How the weighting works
The six parts are Financial health, Credit & debt, Business legitimacy, Governance & people, Operational track record and Funding readiness. Each slider shows Acreed’s default beside it, and ↺ Reset to Acreed defaults puts them all back.
Your weighting never changes a business’s score or band, which are the same for every funder. It produces a fit score out of 100 for your programme, shown as one of four levels:
- Strong fit80 and above
- Good fit65–79
- Partial fit50–64
- Weak fit0–49
Changing a live form
Editing a live form starts a separate draft. The live version keeps taking applications until you publish the new one, so nobody who is applying is cut off halfway. The Criteria Library marks a form with a revision in progress.
In the library, forms are Draft, Active or Archived. Open a form to Archive it, which retires it, or Reactivate it to bring it back.
Questions
Where do I set my interest rates and loan sizes?
Not in the form. Your general rates and facility sizes go in Settings, then What you fund, which an administrator saves. The terms of a particular loan are set when you approve it.
Does the sector focus on a form filter who can apply?
No. It is a note for your team. The sectors you finance are set in What you fund, which decides who appears in your Directory.
